Safari West – Friday Oct 3rd

If you are "making a weekend of it" and feel like taking a little excursion to Africa, Safari West is just 10 miles from Calistoga. We are planning on taking the 4pm Safari Vehicle Tour on Friday afternoon and welcome you to join us! This is a casual event so there's no pressure to go. In fact, if Friday doesn't work for you but you are interested in visiting, there are several tour times throughout the weekend. Information on pricing, tour times and reservations can be found on their website.

We've Registered!

Most people know we love to browse and shop so this was nothing but fun! It was tough, but we chose Crate & Barrel & Macy's to pick out the pieces that will make our house a home and keep us cooking in style.

Getting to Calistoga

For those of you who are flying in. Calistoga is an easy 1 hour and 45 minute drive from either Oakland (OAK) or Sacramento Airport (SMF) and just a few minutes longer from San Francisco Airport (SFO).

Accomodations

As soon as you have decided to join us at Solage Calistoga please make arrangements for your accommodations as this area books up well in advance. You can view availability and book rooms through Calistoga's Chamber of Commerce website as well as find other information on things to see and do in the area. Additional lodging can be found in nearby St Helena. St Helena is another very cute town with lots of shops and restaurants located just 10 minutes from Solage.

For the bargain hunter willing to make a bit of a drive, lower rates can be found in Napa or Santa Rosa (about a 40min drive) or Vallejo (1 hour drive).
